State-of-the-art stadium
The Allianz Arena opened in 2005 and is home to both major Munich clubs, FC Bayern and TSV 1860, was designed purely as a football stadium. The architecturally unique arena was constructed in under three years. The Allianz Arena is the state-of-the-art stadium in the heart of Europe. It has the biggest membrane shell in the world, with 2,874 rhomboidal inflated panels.
